Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
We are planning a small beach wedding for Wednesday May 30th and we are trying to find somewhere close to go for dinner afterwards.
The house we rented is in Inlet beach, but right next too Rosemary beach too. We plan to be married on the beach there. We will probably have a group of about 20-25 including the kids.
I have talked to the owners of The Terrace and they seem very nice and the menu looks great? Just wondering if anyone has tried them?
We really don't want anything too fancy..Just something nice.
Thanks for any help.
We have checked out the Santa Rosa beach club for the pre wedding Lunch the day before. It looks very nice.

It is quite good. We can offer some choices if you tell us how many.

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
I've eaten at the Terrace quite a few times. The owners run both the dining room and the kitchen and the results show it. Food and service have, for me, always been well worth the trip.
Lots of folks, me included, also can recommend other upscale restaurants on 30A. But none of the others are convenient to Inlet, except Onano, which is too small for a reception unless you book the whole place. If the atmosphere and menu at the Terrace suit your needs, I'd say go for it.

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
I've been to the Terrace numerous times, and I have never had a bad meal there. The food and service have always been top quality, and the nightly specials are usually so appetizing that I've never even looked at their regular menu.

The Terrace rocks!
We love it. They have fabulous apps, entrees and desserts. The coconut cake is "famous," and might make a lovely post or pre-wedding cake?
Just don't show up expecting cutting-edge restaurant interiors.
It is homey, the food is served on plates that sometimes don't match and the owners manage the front of the house, as well as cook in the kitchen.
The food is wonderful.
Enjoy!!!

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
The Terrace is really fine dining. The restaurant is chef-owned. I wholeheartedly agree about the coconut cake. The soups are always fabulous as are the entrees. The decor could use a sprucing up but the food is topshelf.

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
we have talked about it on the board Smiling Josephina! I've responded at least once to questions about it. I've also recommended it to mango months ago when she was looking for a nice place for an anniversary dinner.
we haven't been in a few years though. but we've enjoyed it in the past. great little cozy place to celebrate with your significant other, or with a small group of friends.

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
Thanks for the info! We have probably a group of no more than 20 that will be attending and that includes kids.
My guy and I are getting Re-married!! For good this time and we want nothing fancy!! Just a nice fun place to go have dinner and celebrate with family and friends after the weddding.
We are looking for something close to the beach house we rented. We are not worried about the view since we will be married around sunset and by the time we get to the restaurant it will be dark anyway.
Any other ideas are welcome.
I checked out the Santa Rosa beach club for a pre wedding lunch! It looks very nice and the views look awesome???Michelle

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
The Terrace Restaurant in Inlet Beach has been running a Tues thru Saturday dinner special from 5:30 to 6:30. The price is $14.95 with a dinner salad. Some of the entrees are as follows : Grilled lamb chops, sauteed chicken piccata, grilled pork tenderloin, fried or sauteed fish of the evening, baked oysters, or fried shrimp or oysters. The food is outstanding at this restaurant. The place could use a refurbishing but who cares about ambience when the food and value is this good. It is the perfect place for an early dinner on the way to the new cinema at Pier Park. The regular menu is pretty reasonably priced also. I have had their homemade coconut cake for dessert which was outrageously good. Ths is a hidden jewel that no one talks about.
No good deed goes unpunished.

I personally enjoy the "tree of many fruits", it's in the back dining room with the old IHOP booths.

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
It is the kind of place where you would be comfortable in jeans and a polo. The lamb chops and pork tenderloin were spectacular. They are served with mashed potatoes and green beans.....and the portions are ample. Your meal is preceded with a hummus spread and warm right out of the oven pita triangles.
At $14.95 you can't go wrong !!!

The Terrace has been consistently good for many years. I still remember it was one of the first places open for dinner after Opal.

We were there in March 2007. Nice food and quiet enough to talk during dinner. We enjoyed it.

Re: Anyone been to the Terrace restaurant in Inlet beach?
These winter special prices sound dynamite. That's a really well-prepared meal for only a few dollars more than most places on 30A get for a sandwich.
The Terrace is an old favorite, always a good meal there. And the coconut cake is indeed fine.
