Boat Names and their meanings
We had a cabin cruiser the entire family would stay the whole weekend on at our Lake. It will take some time to find a pic of it 'cause it was pre digital days. We called it "Six Pack" There are six of us ..... four wonderful, beautiful children .... now young adults.
We later got a ski boat (it got a little expensive pulling the wake board behind the 30 footer even in those days but man the children loved that wake
). We named our little ski boat "Fun Pack"
Don’t ya wish you had the ability to put a tracking device on things like this you sell, with permission of course? Man would I like to know where she is now. If any of you ever run across her, please let me know. She was the place of many, many good family memories. I’d buy her back in a heartbeat. We bought her in 1988. Sold her in 1997. She had become an expensive taxi to the restaurants on The Lake and we were moving back from Dallas, TX. Now that’s a whole different story.
Here is a pic of our new Sea Ray in 1989. We had not even put the name on her yet.
Pic on the trailer before we put her in the water for the first time after we became her owner, well the bank became her owner.
Last is a pic with her name.
Kurt, how's your bandwidth?????

Re: Boat Names and their meanings
My folks have a boat named D Mary K. The D is for my dad and 5 of us kids, all of our names start with D, Mary is for my mom and the K is for our last name. We grew up having boats on Lake Erie. They started with an old 16 ft.Wooden Cruiser and they now have a 37 foot Aluminum Marinette that they keep up by Cedar Point.

That is a very old one. The new ones look alot sleeker. They are all aluminum and my folk's boat has a salon and sleeps 8. If you want to google some neat boats, look at The Lyman's, They are an old wood boat. We had 2 of them before the marinette.

Re: Boat Names and their meanings
My 99 yr. old Grandpa had many boats over 60 yrs, and he named each one The Loafer. I used to pick people up from their anchored boats when I was a kid with a small dinghy, and one day my Grandfather painted the name
"Just Add Water" to it. (Cause it was so small)
"With Liberty and nothing for all" ---my 3 yr. old nephew's version of the Pledge of Allegiance.
