Pretty sure that cat's out of the bag. You probably know that by now from other threads. The prize should be for finding the stick-on DuneBra in the pic...

Everyone is so sneaky! We need to have a revealing. Really. I mean you go out to the beach and look for the guy with the big lens. Is that Kurt? or Joe? I'm so confused!

Kurt- I think you know my dad. I actually talked to you when I ordered some prints form you. I'm going to figure this out. It's killing me!!!

There are any number of guys out there with fine lens packages.

Kurt's been outted so often he's basically a rock star legend. Smiling JOe's another story altogether. Think "Secret Squirrel" (he goes good with Nasti Spumanti) :laughing1

There needs to be Sowal party. Everyone wears a nametag with their 'name'- or we could have a guessing game or something. Think potluck. But we have to wait until New Year's when my Sowal group is down there.

And I still think we need Sowal gear!!!!

I don't recall ever exposing the size of my lense. Remember that it is not always the size that matters. All you need to know about me is written on these pages. Just know that I am here.

Sorry Kimmifunn, I wore my name tag out last night at our mini SoWal party at CoCo's. Where were you? If you would have seen me in my big name tag even walking down the road, you would have pulled over and asked, "Are you Smiling JOe. I am no secret, but rather, a walking billboard.:laughing1

    A walking contradiction perhaps...

Don't you believe it kimmi, he moves silently and carefully with grace and stealth and has the guts of a catburglar. Think stealth bomber, no radar signature.

Which reminds me, did you guys ever see the Space Shuttle getting shuttled back to the Cape? I guess not because if you did, I know we would have seen the pic post.

Well, I guess if you were at CoCo's last night, you would not say that.

I see many message boarders smiling at me all the time, but I know they are too afraid that I may not be me, so they walk on by saying nothing more than, "hi." I wonder who the real walking contradiction could be. I am straight up all the way. One would have to be a blind, deaf mute to not pick me out of a crowd at the beach.

You guys obviously enjoy "teasing" the rest of us. Not only that we are not there, but that we aren't part of your little "clique."

I always thought this board was like a big family. Now, I feel like an outsider - like the crazy old uncle that is alway placed in the corner and ignored.

Now that looks like fun! RO, I see only one 250 on the back of the boat. It seems like a couple of other engines must have fallen off, eh?

If you had hung another engine on that POS ... even if had been a trolling motor ... it may have sank

It was 22' Harris Kayot deckboat which is a fine boat. HOWEVER... this rental company must never wash or do any maintenance that I could see. On the other hand the motor ran fine and never let us down. The only insturment that worked was the tach. Depth finder didn't work. Unless it had a 500 gal fuel tank that gage didn't work

I do plan on taking mine next time around. I do highly recommend renting a boat and exploring the bay. Just from a different company.

We have the same boat at the lake but it is an I/O.

We love it. It has a 350 Ford and it will boogie if you put some gas to it.

I see them on the lake here too and they are very nice boats. That one was on it's last leg though. Must be very durable or they wouldn't use them. I have rented boats in Sanibel and they are WAY better maintained! Clean and 4 stroke motors some with Yamaha Salt Water Series engines. Much more professional. Hell that place didn't even give me a chart for the bay?

No chart + broken gas needle adds up to trouble. Good thing you know what you're doing.

We were on the bay one day when the thickest fog I've ever seen rolled in. We had to stop. We couldn't see five feet in front of the dang boat. We just drifted out of the channel (so we wouldn't get nailed) and sat it out for a couple hours.

No depth finder either... well... not one that worked . Out there in fog would not be good

That's the scary part. They'd run right over you and never know it. There was some clown zipping around in a bass boat during that fog. We couldn't see him but we could hear him. He was going back and forth, back and forth. I guess he was looking for a channel?

I registered as a member this month for a specific issue. Turns out I made some contacts that became friends, from the first minute I met them (coincidentally) in person. Pretty simple, pretty cool.

I have every reason to believe that there will be any number of SoWal bashes, organized and impromtu, that will bust the "clique" wide open. All you have to do is get there, something we all seem to share deeply. Doesn't seem like such a tall order or tough duty to me.

Seemed to me he was posting commando yesterday (DON'T send that pic again). And with all the "International Man of Mystery" stuff last night, I think I'm about right... I still wonder if they saw the Shuttle yesterday??

I've confined (weaned) myself to a lunchtime session today, but I'll be back later.

He has to work sometime, I suppose. He was lurking earlier I think. I have him on a buddylist and even when he's posting I can't seem to raise him. That's what I was referring to about the green light bulb being burned out and cloaking devices, etc.

If I could EVER get back down there, I'd like to meet some of you guys. Maybe it'll happen

I know I know. I just can't get out of the office long enough to get down there. I wound up working Sunday this weekend.

    See you there...
I'm just messing with y'all. It's just jealosy, pure and simple. I'll be down mid-October and am marking the days off my calendar like a convict waiting on parole.

I'll be your friend JB! I'll be down in October as well. Can't wait to see as many board (but not boring!) friends as possible!

Where is that humongous drink from? A margarita from Coco's is my guess?

The closest glass was my 60 oz JMR from CoCo's, which someone else had to finish for me.
