    Hotel DeFuniak

Has anyone stayed at Hotel DeFuniak B & B before?

Bill reserved a night there toward the end of June - staying over on his way to Quincy. Really looks neat from their website.

I think he got a room w/breakfast for $75 - about the same as the motels around I10 and 331. And the motels didn't get good reviews.

But hey...Top Ramen tastes a whole lot better when you eat it off of a Granite Countertop. (Mr & Mrs Too Much Homebuyer)

Isn't there a really weathered old billboard on the right shoulder of 331 north before you get to I-10 (near the hospital) advertising that place? It must be hawking the original inception!

Could be wrong, but I think the billboard is for the DeFuniak Motel . Totally different - uh - clientele.

I've not been to the Hotel DeFuniak (nor the motel, in case I need to clear that up) but a friend stayed there when she came home for her father's funeral. Being from DeFuniak, she was pleasantly surprised.

FWIW, my brother and sister-in-law usually hang out at the DeFuniak Best Western when they come home, if they are trying to split time between my family and my other brother's family in DeFuniak. Full complimentary artery-clogging country breakfast. And dataports (might be wifi now, but doubt it).

He had a nice stay there. Said it was an interesting place and he'd stay there again.

Make your stay at Hotel DeFuniak real treat and book a massage with Rose during your visit. She works from a sweet peaceful room on the second floor.

Hey, maybe he had that massage with Rose and that was the "interesting" part! jk

He booked the Aviary Room and was very pleased.
