The food and service are good and any shortcomings are made up for by a tremendous view and pleasant atmosphere.

I've eaten lunch there a few times, but the only reason to return is the view. Service is pretty good, and sincere, atmosphere is a little Country Club-like, though not stuffy, and prices are very reasonable, but the food has been mediocre every time -- not good, but not bad. I would expect higher quality of food to match the incredible views.

I'm with kitty, brunch is above average with something for everybody, killer gulf views;you do not have to be a member of the club to eat there

    Re: Santa Rosa Beach Club?

We were there this winter with some friends. Had a drink on the deck and watched the sunset. Beautiful and other folks on deck were fun and friendly. We then went inside for dinner. Service was fine, but the food was just o-k. None of our main dishes came at the same time and because we waited for all of us to be served before we ate, some of the food was cold. Sauces were left out, other ingredients were also left out or subbed, some things were undercooked, some overcooked and most things were underseasoned. I think they were having probs in the kitchen, but still not this many things should have gone wrong. It's a pretty pricey place and for what our bill was, we should have had much better food. Also, there was a singer there who was so loud, that no one could have a conversation. This did not make for a pleasant, relaxing dinner. There are so many great rest. on 30 A that we wouldn't go back there to eat dinner. It's a wonderful place to have a drink and watch the sunset tho.

I agree with Smiling Joe... The food, service, decor and clientele reminded me of an aging/outdated Country Club in any little town. Aside from the servers (who were very professional and nice), my wife was the only woman in the place without blue hair (and I was the only guy WITH hair). The food was average Country Club fare.

BUT (and that's a big but) there's NO other place on 30A that offers the same incredible view, at a reasonable price... Go for the view--not for the food...
