kid friendly suggestions
My husband and I have not been to the area in years, but we will be there next week with our 18 month old. We love to cook, so we can't wait to find a good seafood shop. However, I was wondering if you could suggest a few kid friendly restaurants. Our 18 month old is pretty well behaved, but he does like to laugh REALLY loud, so we need something with a good noise level where we won't get glares. We love Criolla's and Cafe 30-A, but don't think we will make it there this trip. Any suggestions - breakfast, lunch, and dinner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: kid friendly suggestions
On the East End of 30-A you have
WIld Olives (Rosemary-outside eating)
Summer Kitchen (Rosemary-outside & some inside eating)
Seacrest Cafe (outside and inside) Seacrest Beach
Spicy Noodle (Inlet Beach)
Shades (very end of 30-A, outside and inside eating)
I think that takes care of the East end......

Re: kid friendly suggestions
Since you will be close to Grayton there is always Red Bar and several in Blue Mt. Beach. Most restaurants (except the 2 you mentioned) are very well suited for small children.

Re: kid friendly suggestions
We took our 3 1/2 yr old to criollas last month and there were several families with small children. I was surprised. THey seem to put all of us in a seperate dining area which was fine with us. I suggest going early. It was so nice to have a great meal. Not as relaxing as we are used to but still nice!! We also go to old florida fish house in Seagrove. another broken egg is great too! Have fun! That is a fun age at the beach!

Re: kid friendly suggestions
If you find yourself in Destin, and wanting to grab something quick, Zoe's in Destin Common has good sandwiches and is right next to the kids' play area there.
Destin sit-down- Osaka is very kid-friendly, and if the little ones get squirmy waiting for food, you can take them outside to look at the koi ponds.
