Looking for a specific beach chair

Several years ago we found these great heavy plastic folding sand chairs. The back could be adjusted to several angles. We found some at Biggs, then Sears, but can't find them anywhere. I've done some web searching. Anybody have an idea? They are all plastic - slats not solid. Low to the ground. Perfect for sitting at the edge of the water (or in)!

A good chair that will last and is not too heavy is hard to find.

Was it all molded plastic with no metal?

If you use a beach chair often around here, expect to purchase a new one every year. If you are lucky, maybe you will get two seasons out of it. The best chair would be the plastic Adirondacks, available at Home Depot / Lowes during the Spring, but they are bulky and do not fold. They are only $10 ea. The folding beach chairs, to which you refer, are sometimes found at Target, but the good ones are pricey. Wal-llly World has a big variety, but they too are pricey, and most are cheap-o quality. The need for yearly replacement comes from following reasons. The stronger metal frames, which are heavy, will hold you up for a while. However, when that rust weakens the chair, and it will, the chair will fold up on you. The lighter weight aluminum chair won't rust, but it weakens after continued use, and it too, will colapse on you.
When this happens to you, please don't pile it up at the Beach trash cans. People sometimes leave their collapsed Beach tents and chairs piled up around the trash receptilcles, and it looks like crap. Get it out of there.

Well that's better than leaving them randomly on the beach somewhere, which happens a lot. If they are left at the cans, the TDC guys will pick them up.

A well-made aluminum beach chair will last several seasons if you simply rinse it good with fresh water at the end of each day and store it away from the salt air.

Believe it or not, the best beach chairs I have ever purchased were from the Martha Stewart collection at K-Mart. Galvanized aluminum frame, nylon-webbed seat/back and wooden armrests.
