I looked at this house many years ago and really liked it. It's kind of like a 50s MOD house with a really nice feel to it. It had a lot of potential then. It would be interesting to know what's been done to it since then.

Is this the house that was designed and occupied by an architecture professor?

Anyway I can fix the way that all loaded in above? The kitchen is all industrial. He added a huge washer and dryer area. It really is something you would have to see. Not a home for everyone but if you like something with a little more character this is it!

I added some space breaks - just remember to use your return key between images.

I liked it a lot when I saw it. Nice to see a real diving board.

Thanks for the photo. I really like the Airstream/Pool House idea. Is it used as a guest house too? And is it operatable (to use on the road?)

He had someone living in it awhile back. Now it seems just more pool stuff being stored in it. It needs some interior work to say the least. Probably not road ready but the axles are intact. The airstream for a pool house sure fits the home.

That's a lot of make up. I don't think you can have one of those in Water Sound.

Does the airstream come with McDreamy?!!!

my apologies bobbyj this tidbit of useless 411 has nothing to do with your thread, but who knows you may find it in some trivia sometime or it may give a new airstream owner some creative ideas.

The Psychology of Set Dressing on Grey's

Different styles and inspirations reflect the different Grey’s Anatomy characters, and its certainly reflected in how we dress the set. For example, Burke is very neat, very modern, and expensive. Think stainless steel kitchen and nice, dark wood furniture. Very loft-like and expensive because he can definitely afford more. Cristina, on the other hand, is a slob. Her character is very sloppy. She moves in with someone who is very neat. So we have to mess it up for her but it also has to be very neat for him.

Meredith’s house is a craftsman house and most of the dressing is a carry-over from her mother. The bedrooms rooms would be more of the different character’s personalities. So George’s room looks more like a dorm, while Izzie’s is very girly. Meredith’s is the master bedroom and it’s big and comfortable. But it also has her softer touches in there. There are armoires and antique stuff around the house.

For Derek’s trailer, we wanted a very Ralph Lauren look in the trailer: very outdoorsy but also very modern with wide screen TV’s, etc. It’s an Airstream, so it’s kind of retro-cool but it’s filled with expensive stuff. The TVs and radios and all the cooking utensils are expensive stuff, but it’s in a trailer. The thinking is that if Derek needs something, he’ll just go to a fancy store and buy what he needs and not shop around. He’s just like that. Doctor’s don’t have time! The color scheme is definitely plaids and browns and very woodsy colors…manly but expensive.

I'm sure the insurance adjuster wouldn't.
