Hotel on extreme west end of PCB?

My family (hubby & 2 kids) will be in Port St. Joe visiting relatives for a few days in early April (Atl springbreak). I would like to detour to SoWal to spend a day on the way home, perhaps spending one night in a hotel not too far from 30A. Such a short stay during a spring break week makes renting our usual SoWal accomodations nearly impossible.

Can anyone tell me the closest beachfront hotel to Carillon or Camp Helen St. Park? We can only stay one night (or two max), and we don't want to be in the middle of PCB.

We'll be back in June for a week in Seagrove, but I would love to squeeze in a day trip between now and then. Thanks in advance ~ This board is my lifeline to the promised land of sand and sun!
