sad news
Very sad news ya'll!!
My aunt is forcing us to sell satisfaction(101 Lydia).
Yes, the anchor house.
It has been in our family for over half a century.
We are all saddened by this news and wanted to say that we love you all and will miss you more than you could know!
Love in our Grayton bond,
Satisfaction no longer

Re: sad news
Sad to lose a place at the beach.
Post the details here with a price and maybe someone will buy it who will appreciate it.

I can only hope that whoever does buy the property will cherish it like it is and not tear it down to build an "monster" house.

Re: sad news
Oh that's horrible news... We go down to the beach with a large group of people each May or June and each year for the last few years one of the families has rented out the Satisfaction... We will greatly miss lounging on the small dock, having talent shows on the porch, and hiding treasure hunt clues in the anchor
We have some nice pictures of the house though in case some "old grayton" respecting individual wants to buy it...

Re: sad news
I have a few pictures I took after the hurricane of the view on the lake and the front of the house. If you're interested in talking about the sale price you can e-mail my mother @ beastoburden@aol.com.
