Golf suggestions
We are visiting in late July and are looking to play a few rounds of golf. We will be staying in the South Walton area. If anyone has any suggestions as far as nice places to play while still being reasonably priced I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your thoughts in advance!!

Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club, Seascape Resort Golf Club, The Golf Garden (Par 3), Windswept Dunes.
and have fun!!

Windswept Dunes north side of the bay, east of Freeport. It is long, but wide open. SRB Golf Club would be my second choice.

First I do not play golf so I would not know a good course from a bad one. But from the prices I see on the various websites, the Country Club in DeFuniak Springs is open to the public, and has quite a few people coming up from the south end of the county play.

Defuniak, Windswept, and SRB are all good.
Defuniak is $33.50 for non-member 18 holes w/ cart and the very reasonable food/beverage prices cancel out the extra gas to get there.

Hi, I just played Santa Rosa yesterday. It is in excellent condition, but a very tight golf course. I played Windswept Dunes last year.It was very good. Another very good course is Regatta Bay. Depending on where you are staying,it may be a little bit of a drive.
