YellowFin Sports -- a good twist

In the old days, when YellowFin Sports was under different ownership, it was sometimes like pulling teeth to buy or rent from them. For a couple of years now, YellowFin has had new owners, people who understand our area, and the value of customers. I don't want to start any trends or high expectations, so I will refrain from the specifics, but just want to note that John and Lynn (two of the owners of YellowFin) went above and beyond their duties to accommodate my needs, and I appreciate it. It saved me another trip. Thanks guys!

If you haven't been to YellowFin, go check them out. They have all of your fishing and kayaking needs, plus a whole bunch more.

  3. Wow, thanks for the kind complement. We work hard so that everyone has a positive experience here at Yellowfin Ocean Sports.

It's flattering that you think I'm an owner, but I'm just the General Manager. John Farmer is the one (and only) owner since it was purchased from Jim C. in December 2006. John and I are having a blast running the stores. We meet so many great people here, both locals and vacationers.

    Thanks again for your support.

Sorry about that mix up. Someone had once told me that you two bought it. Regardless, thanks again.

Another good report, as my soon to be visiting brother is going to be using their services and has nothing but great things to say about how warm & welcoming he has been treated by John.

Cool - I haven't been in YF since Jim owned it and my nephew worked there, and that's been SEVERAL years now. I will have to drag Fuzz out there and check it out.

Lynn helped me buy a kayak there last week, which John delivered to my door and helped me set up... They are wonderful people, helpful, friendly, couldn't have had a better experience. Exactly what I had hoped working with a locally-owned business would be. I will definitely be back, and will send people your way.

I've been out on the lake with Daisy every evening since I got it, and having so much fun - Thanks Lynn & John!
