Pug in this Club

So...after months and months of wanting and waiting, I'm about 6 hours away from being the proud owner of a 1 year old, male pug. Unless something goes horribly wrong between now and then.

Please note, I have upgraded my living situation from apartment to house with a front and back yard. And two gates.

His name will be Bo Jackson.

Kinda- the lady we are getting him through got him for his son, but they live in an apartment and he likes to run around, needs a yard. The usual dog things. So I feel like we're rescuing him and bringing him to a better living situation. And there's two of us with a doggie door and 2 yards. He's going to own West Hollywood.

I met his future best friend's dad last night. And we have a dog park picked out.

It sounds like you've taken all the right steps toward being a mommy. I know Shooter will love him too.

i did you a favor and already broke the news to dad. you can expect his response.... haha i told him you were gonna buy it and you hadnt yet, he said its a waste of money and a horrible irresponsible decision.. but i cant wait to hang out with him and play with his poor smooshed up face...hes definitely not gonna be able to snore as loud as D-rex..

Last time I checked, I was 28 and supporting myself. So get over it.

Good news is...

The puggie has landed. We went to pick him up in Pacoima. For those that don't know, Pacoima is in the ghe-tto of the valley. Like roosters crowing, etc. The girl we got him from was living in an apt and he needs a yard, etc, etc. We went to see him and immediately fell in love. He took to us both super easily, so handed over the dough and became proud parents.

We had to go to Petco to get the needs and he got loose and ran into Ventura Boulevard. Luke caught him as I was in 4" wedges at the moment.

Brought him home and found out quickly enough that he was probably fed from the table. He got it that we weren't going to feed him what we were chowing on and ate his dog food. Pooed and peed outside (until about 5 min ago when he lifted his leg on Luke's ottoman).

Crazy news, and I don't want to jinx it, he slept in his crate without making one noise.

We're going to the vet today and hopefully chopping balls asap. He can't play with Lulu Flynn till we get that taken care of.

lukes her roommate.. gussi asked me today "cameron tell me about this luke guy?... is there any love?" sounding desperate.. my reply, simply "no.. im sorry dad, i know that would be the best fathers day present ever".. and btw he said that he is proud of her and that its her own money.. he told me that for christmas he WAS gonna get her a French Bulldog but then he was happy to find out that she got Bo now so he doesnt have to worry about it..congrats on your adopted child..hope he follows in the path of all other Pappas' and grows to be wider than he is tall!
