Just opened new candy store in SOWAL
Hello everyone! I have just opened a new candy store in Seaside next to Aquarius Spa in the old Sea of Silver location. I have been on the sowal site now several times but never registered or posted anything. So I thought I would log on and introduce myself to everyone. My name is Christine Turner and the name of my new store is C. Marie's Candy.
If your in Seaside feel free to stop by and sample some of our fresh fudge or imported Belgian chocolates.
Thanks
C. Maire

This place is fantastic; so far I've sampled the fudge, a few truffles, and some sort of peanut cluster. They were all unbelievably yummy and incredibly fresh... the truffles were eyeballs-rolling-in-the-back-of-your-head good, but the peanut cluster was my favorite, a perfect blend of creamy, rich chocolate and salty peanuts.

I also have to comment about how friendly the employees were when I was there, I was really impressed. Bravo to Seaside's newest business - now everybody go and get some candy!"My life has been a huge adventure, always. I like them bold, I'm done with creepy." - Seagrovegirl

I will have to bring the kids by to have a look,

We love biking down to Seaside from Seagrove and that bike ride will help me feel better about indulging at your store, it sounds great!! I used to love going to the candy store at Destin Commons when I was a kid!

What is a Jelly Belly? I never heard of them. No, not me.

Cotton candy jelly bellys, crushed pineapple, coconut, island punch, mango, tutti frutti ........... No, never heard of them.
David. You are my hero.
(and my 100 year old grandfather says these are his favorite gift, besides a good brandy)

Oh my goodness!

I received a special delivery birthday basket yesterday and must say is was scrumptous! It had chocolate dipped strawberries (huge!), blackberries, cherries, banana, raspberries & blackberries, the best cashew chocolate patty I have ever had, and an assortment of other goodies. I must say that was a wonderful idea for a present.

David. Love the Jelly Bellys. You seem like a fun guy. Do you have property in SoWal or visit the area, or did you just surf on in like Californians tend to do?

Thanks
Thanks so much for all the great support and positive feed back everyone. I hope when you make it by the store you will let us know who you are.
Also, we have decided to start gift deliveries to the local area. We have had several inquires over the last week after one of our fellow so-waler's made the first request about delivering a gift to a friend on 30A when they were out of town. That was our first delivery. Thanks for the tip!

Tonight I got to try the chocolate covered s'more, and all I can say is
Oh
My
God...

Anybody who loves chocolate and hasn't tried C. Marie's yet is really missing out... I know, they have all kinds of other candy there too, but really, once I open the door and smell the chocolate, I just block out the other stuff..."My life has been a huge adventure, always. I like them bold, I'm done with creepy." - Seagrovegirl

C. Marie, best of luck to you!
