Yep! It's that time again. I was going to wait to start the thread.....then I realized.....THAT IS JUST TWO MONTHS AWAY!

So get out your calendars and mark the dates.

I know!! I just got through looking at the calendar and then looking to see if I could take another whole week off (to include two weekends). Don't think I can, but I'll be there no matter what weekend it is.

See.....the issue is this, if it is the first weekend of October Miss Kitty will miss out, if it is the second weekend of October I will miss out. Watersound & Watercolor's homeowner weekend is always the first and second weekends of October. I will just have to come early, leave & hopefully make it back for the final show!

We are a busy bunch of people. There is a big beach wedding of former (she had to move to ATL) stellar TurtleWatch watcher on October 11.

Please don't change on my account. If you are planning this, you should be able to enjoy the full evening there. I would love to see everyone & could definitely make an appearance on the 11th (with pudding shots) but not sure how long I could stay.

BB - are you going to miss it if its on the 11th? you know what - there is no way to pick a safe date for everyone. maybe you need a small committee to: select the date, plan, communicate, etc. I'll volunteer.

pick one date and go with it. out of town folks will come if they possibly can, and if they can't then there is always spring.

also, you guys know you can plan a sowal get together anytime you please. its not really a SoWal.com event. It's a Sowal.com member event - coordinated by the people for the people.

BB, you know I love you but we can't be in SoWal for the Film Festival in November and the soiree, too.

We've missed the films every time and this year I'm putting my foot down! We will have to settle for the slide-show post-soiree on-line event instead. I know y'all won't disappoint.

That is a grayt idea! The soiree's are becoming larger each year and organization will make things smoother, imho. I'll volunteer, too.

Well perfect! I already have the lodge reserved and was planning on being there anyway. I wouldn't want to miss it. It was so awesome last year.
