People should be aware of what they're eating when they eat commercial meat. In this case, cows are being fed the industrial waste from candy manufacturers Hershey and Mars. One would think that allowing cows to eat grass would be cheaper than feeding them reject candy bars, but something must be wrong somewhere.

Another good reason for me to go back to being vegetarian, as soon as I stop nursing!

(I don't digest soy well and so can't use it as my main protein, while having thyroid issues, so don't need to go the wheat protein way, either. With nursing a toddler, my protein needs are so high, have to do chicken and turkey right now. As soon as he weans, I am really going low density proteins!)

This is another reason for me to eat more meat. What else can they flavor it with? Ice cream flavored ham. I would like to try twinkie flavored chicken.
