Where to buy reasonably priced furniture?
May purchase a property in sowal and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any furniture stores in the area that are reasonably priced. Not looking for high-end, just in between :) Any used furniture stores in the area? Thank you very much.

There are a couple of really nice consignment stores in Destin. One on Airport Road and the other, I think is on Hwy 98 before you get to Beach Drive.

J. Miller's consignment in Destin - near Holiday Isle - has a great selection and good prices. I think they also have a website. They have new & consigned furniture, art & accessories. Good luck!

Resort Resale
You have to go to Resort Resale. It just opened & they have incredible things at VERY reasonable prices. Ray & Vicki, the owners are awesome! Be sure to check it out.

Resort Resale just opened on 98 just past Scavenger's & JamBone (west of 393). I haven't been in yet, but noticed their "now open" sign. You can't miss them.

I swore I was going to keep this secret to myself, but I'm afraid of karma biting me in the butt if I don't pass this along, so. . . . . Resort Interiors moves unsold inventory to their warehouse located behind their main building. Everything there is 50-70% (mostly 70%) off retail. There are some serious bargains to be found: $300-400 (& up, of course) armoires, beds, tables. The only drawback is that "sets" of things are not available. These are usually odd pieces, but if you are like me and don't like the "matchy matchy" thing, you can find some really good bargains. Open Mon-Sat, 10-5 I think (not sure of the hours).
And all the places florida girl mentioned are good also. You just have to be patient and go often since their inventory changes almost daily.
It's against Miss Critter's religion to pay retail.
