Still no news about Shadow. Have checked with the shelter, and they didn't pick him up.

    We miss him.

A funny thing about shadow, he would run and jump on that hammock and then let it rock him to sleep. I have never seen a cat do that.

It has been a rough year with pets for us. If you remember, we had to put our black lab down after a long period of suffering from oleander poisoning.

I never even went back to that thread, as I couldn't type without crying.

We miss him terribly... we cut down five tall and beautiful oleanders since then.

Thanks for the response. Maybe someone in our neighborhood knows something- we distributed flyers... I'll post back.

Oh doGooD, I guess I missed that you had to put your dog down. I'm so sorry. I remember reading the thread originally. I'm sorry your cat's missing too. Seems like lots of cats disappear around SoWal.

Thank you. Noche was a great dog. ..With so much love to give. The day we had to put him down I went into the hospital, and was induced. Alice Sue came the next day. It was an emotional rollercoaster!

I think I am over having cats for now on. I love them, but I don't feel like I can tolerate losing any more animals. And I don't think cats love being locked up in the house (plus I hate litter boxes).

I sure hope your beautiful was not declawed if you let him out to go potty.
In my past experience, if a cat goes out, many times they do not return.

Thankfully people don't do that so much anymore.

I hope Shadow comes home soon.
