Molly and her Braces...Week Three
In order to keep from visiting the Real Estate and/or G.I. forums and getting bummed out, I am suggesting a little contest. I can't set up a poll...(DUH!), but let's guess what color Molly's rubber bands will be this week....she goes in today for her third adjustment. I can't feed her this morning, so I have to avoid looking at her!!!
Week one....purple
Week two....pink
Week three...?
My guess is red. Good luck and check back for the answer this afternoon!
P.S. Desperate times = Desperate measures
EDIT: The General Info Forum has suffered a bit as well.Last edited by Miss Kitty; 12-13-2005 at 06:41 AM.

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
Red and white candy cane stripe!
-
Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
I like the candy cane idea.Log in my vote..and yes the general board is a little too serious.
How many more bands for Molly? I saw a dog on tv that had not had the braces and the poor thing looked so sad.....everyone on the show was laughing at him. Glad Molly has parents who care....imagine the therapy bill from that ridicule!

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
I also think red and white (candy cane) would be cute too!
(I hope nobody from one of the other more intense threads jumps over here and insults us!!)

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
I am voting for green....and if you can stand to look at her long enough, please give her a hug for me!!!

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
So sad!!!! No green OR red!!! Seems there are only four choices!!! FTLOG, what's a dog to do???? But, Molly has requested the ultimate...even I hadn't thought this possible...are you ready????.....
GLOW IN THE DARK!!!!!!!! I'll be up all night looking in her mouth!!!!
P.S. Molly might get lucky and have her LOWER braces put on today! Then we can call her metal mouth! And, no, we do not laugh at her...until one of them pops and it hangs out of her mouth...now that's FUNNy!!!!! I wonder how much a doggie shrink is????

SS: Molly seems to be taking her braces in stide. Does she choose the band color and if so how does that work?

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
I actually have! When Missy was suffering from bad arthritis and liver cancer, I used an holistic vet in Vermont along with my vet here who suggested him. One of the suggestions was for acupuncture, which we could not use because of steroids being used. The canine chiropractor was the one who did the acupuncture!

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
I know they make red bands. One of our school colors is red. One month when my son was still in braces all the kids in his class thought it would be FUNNy to get red rubber bands. Thankfully it only lasted a month.

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
My son gets all kinds of awful color combinations. I see him smile and it just looks nasty sometimes!

I guess whatever keeps the bands on their teeth is a good thing.

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
Did it help Missy? So sad to see older dogs suffer and seems like a better option than drugs.

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
Yeah...LL had a great pic of a dog with crooked teeth and then he added purple bands to it!!!! Loved that! Can't wait to see if the new bands glow in the dark!

Re: Molly and her Braces...Week Three
SS, Molly will probably be in and out of her doggy braces/bands way before my daughter will. It's impossible to get her to wear her bands like they ask. We'll be making that trip to the Ortho office well into college at this rate.
Color in the band color of choice!
