Linens & Things Going Out Of Business Sale

Just thought I'd throw this out - Linens and Things is going out of business. I was just up at the store, picked up some new place mats for 30% off. The whole store is still pretty full of stuff, with everything off 30-50%. There are some pretty good deals on kitchen, bath and christmas related items. They close the doors for the final time December 15th.

A few days ago appliances were only 10% off. Have they marked them down further?

When we were in there on Friday, it was still mostly 10% off with only bout 2-3 tables of stuff at 30% off. But then I've found that formal bankruptcy sales tend to not be very good- the liquidating company is under pressure to get the greatest possible $$$ in order to satisfy the greatest number of creditors.

The only good stuff at liquidation bankruptcies tends to be product that normally has a hard price floor and never goes on sale. So I'd give it a few weeks and see if they actually go a decent percent off on the high end cutlery if you could use something like that.

ALL Linens n things are closing.

They tried to do some store closings about 4 or 6 months ago with the hopes of being bought out. But with the economy there's no chance of it, so ALL nationwide stores are closing.
Kinda sad for the employees be right before Christmas n all.
