Ive heard that they're eliminating the the east-west jog on 331 in Freeport to make it a straight shot down to the beaches but was wondering if anyone knows how theyre gonna do it? Assuming they'll keep the same exit off I-10 and arc it into south 331.

It will straighten just North of the high school and South of Owl's Head into the existing intersection in East Freeport.
