English Bulldog free to loving home

We have a 2 year old purebred English Bulldog who needs a home. She has been fixed and has papers (not AKC but something else). She must be an indoor dog since they can't tolerate the heat. She is housetrained but she's a big girl so if she needs to go she needs to GO! She has only had a couple of accidents but she does have a diaper that she can wear sometimes "just in case." She is crate trained and we can throw in the crate, her brush, beach tags (not sure if they're expired or not though). We took her because she wasn't getting along with other dogs but she gets along fine with our duck that lives inside. They even eat out of the same bowl. If you have other dogs and would like to see how she does, we could probably work out a trial run.

She is an EXCELLENT indoor dog with a great disposition but she is high maintanence. She needs to be brushed to keep shedding down...she can be a shedder. She also needs her wrinkles cleaned often. My husband is not going to be at home during the day anymore and I don't want her to sit in a crate all day. I don't think that's fair to her.

If interested, please email me at dahdoll@hotmail.com, PM me on here or call at 865-0573. Thanks!

Beachyteachy, I will happily take her. I'm sure many on the board will vouch for me as a dog mom.

You will respect my authority! No more drooling dogs, especially one that comes with diapers!

You need to post the picture of her in her pink diapers- the one in your FB pics.

Here goes. I will reiterate that she only wore the diapers when we were housetraining before we had her crate. Don't want anyone to think she's incontinent or anything

In this pic, she is rockin' the muffin top. She a proud to be a BBW!!!

SWGB, if you loved me you'd make me a recording of the Cartman impression saying, I'm a Skunkape and you will respect my authoritie.

I have to know, does the ducky where diapers?? I really love the idea that you have a pet duck. NOW, Skunky let Rapunzel have the sweet puppy!

YES! Duck wears diapers. They lack the muscles to control their potty habits so they cannot be housetrained. I'm not completely crazy...I'm a teacher... Long story short, we hatched her 2 years ago, I took her home to enjoy her for a bit before letting her go at Peach Creek but since ducks imprint, that was not a safe possibility. Soooo...my family has a pet duck that has the potential to live up to 20 years. She's a great pet though! I want a Pekin duck next.

I have a 7 yr old English Bulldog, Emma, and a Siamese cat who get along great. I LOVE bulldogs and would be interested in seeing how Pearl got along with rest of the family, if things don't work out with her new family.......

    How is Pearl?

Just wondering and hoping that Pearl has found a new home. We are English Bulldog owners as well and they are such wonderful members of any family. You are correct, however, about the high maintenance issue. Have you found her the right family yet? She sure is a beauty!

I have someone that is interested in the diaper dog, is she still available?

The diaper dog...lol! Pearl has a new home as of today. She hopped right into the front seat of the truck like she owned the place. We are going to miss her but are so happy that she has a good new home.
