what a grayt day yesterday. Kudos to the Carters for bringing once again a fantastic group of musicians to our area. yesterday was just about perfect: good music, good crowds, good weather...Pier Park also offered lots of outside entertainment for children: Merry go Round, rope climbing, choo-choo train rides.

It is at least within the original boundary of Walton County and actually closer to many South Walton restaurants and resorts than some of Bay County and Panama City. Wonder how many artists and guests brought to the area are staying, playing and eating at our superior SoWal beaches, restaurants and resorts? Heck, often we weren't getting correct media credit for it anyway. At least it really is in Panama City Beach. Often stories misquoted the event as being in Destin when it was here in SoWal. We can still do what surrounding counties do for some of our premier events and say it is in the South Walton area or certainly keep the tag line that it originated in SoWal! I do like and go to Pier Park. Wish we had a Merry go Round and a small choo-choo train (like the old rides at Collaborations before it was Collaborations).
