Code Enforcement now staffed on weekends

I got an email stating that starting this weekend, there will be code enforcement out. You just have to call 622-0000 and it route to the cell phone of the on duty officer who will take your complaint and try to assist you.

I have seen a lot of comments on here about them not working on weekends and they have told me that the last time they tried this they got very few calls. So I want to make sure that everyone knows that they are available for action.

Complaining here is much more therapeutic.

Are they working weekends now so they can check out noise complaints and roadside vendors?

I imagine that they are working to check out code violations like they do the rest of the week.

Just trying to figure out what exactly has changed to make them up staffing during a budget crunch and recession.

A realtor posted a large banner that says "bank owned" and has her phone number. It is posted on a home that had already sold. Isn't this unethical and illegal "bait and switch"???? Does code enforcement handle this? It would be nice if they had an email address too.

Sounds like the FDBPR would be your best bet.
