Casting Call - Kids in the Kitchen with Sarah K. and 30A Television
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DESTIN, FL (June 12th 2009)- Sarah K's Gourmet (www.sarahks.com ) has teamed with 30a Media Inc (www.30atelevision.com ) to reach out to our local community as well as combat childhood obesity. We will be filming a regular segment featuring local children – ages 4 -14 who aspire to be chefs.Casting Call - Kids in the Kitchen with Sarah K. and 30A Television
Our family friendly segment will teach nutrition, cooking skills and math skills while showcasing a young chef in our community.
With the current economic environment many families are cutting back, not only on eating out, but also on children’s activities. Cooking with children is a great way to spend quality time together and encourage children to expand their horizons, obtain confidence in the kitchen and achieve instant gratification with the finished result.
If you know of a child between the ages of 4-14 who has a love of cooking and would like to be featured on our TV and Website show, please send a recent picture of the child along the child’s age, contact information and a family-friendly (and age appropriate) recipe to Sarah K's Gourmet 34940 Hwy 98, Suite 183 Destin FL 32541
The recipes must meet the following criteria: 10 ingredients or less, simple and fresh ingredients, family friendly and age appropriate cooking processes.
The show will air on Mediacom, Comcast networks in Walton and Bay Counties, and on the busy 30a Television website.

kids who enjoy cooking qualify? Or just young kids who want to be chefs? I have a candidate, but she's 6, and she really isn't sure about the whole career thing...
...let me know if she can enter!!!!!!
