Translated: If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Literally.

Hotter than a mofo here yesterday!! Dinner party last night. Here's the run down.

Black Bean Salsa
Mr. DD's smoked/grilled pork tenderloin
Grilled veggies--eggplant, asparagus, yellow squash, zucchini, peppers, mushrooms.
Allifunn's Cornbread Salad
Dune-ahh's Summer Beer
The absolute BEST Key Lime Pie ever....bar none. Made lovingly from scratch. I always forget about those tiny little limes being such a mofo to extract the juice. Thankfully, I have a strapping young man in my house to perform such tasks. I would share the recipe, but then I'd have to kill ya. I mean, people could make millions on this recipe alone!!

The grilling of the veggies was a test of endurance for sure. Standing over a hot grill was not funn--I surely lost 3 lbs. sweating my ass off-but the results were divine. Of course, the sweating had NOTHING to do with the fact that I had already consumed a half gallon of the Summer Beer.
