Hey folks...

The Rep is looking for sponsors, vendors, and teams for this super-cool fundraising event on October 17.... The website is coming, but in the mean time check out the page on our own website.....

This will be very fun for the whole family!!!! Football season is close!

I couldn't believe how big the Auburn/Alabama flag football was last spring- it was amazing! This will be a fun fall football event (although someone will have to explain the rules to me ).

Gridiron games for old and young!
One-day, 8-team flag football tournament and family fun day in which teams compete for the coveted Championship Keg, kids compete in exciting games of their own.

• All proceeds from the event benefit the Seaside Repertory Theatre.
• Vendors on hand serving food
• All you can stand beer; and wine by the glass
• Playground activities for the kids
• Band party following championship at 6pm with game of the week on huge screen as backdrop
• TV’s broadcasting college football games throughout afternoon.
• Teen Punt, Pass, kick, and 40yd dash competition

Team Information

When: October 17, 2009, Noon to 9

Where: Watersound’s Windgarden Park (Directions)


Game Rules:
·7 on 7, unlimited members on team
·Every player is an eligible receiver
·Two 25-minute halves, with a running clock
·Offense gets 4 downs to move 20 yards for a first down
·Playing fields are 55yds x 25yds

Tournament Rules
·8 teams maximum
·3 rounds of single elimination
·Consolation game to determine 3rd place winner

Prizes
·First Prize – A Keg of Budweiser to be enjoyed at a party at (TBD) on Saturday, October 24.
·Second Prize – A Pony Keg to be enjoyed at your leisure
·Third Prize – A 12-pack of Natural Light

Cost
·$500 per team ($50/player for team of 10)
·OR $200 ($20/player for team of 10) if you recruit a $500 business sponsorship
·Cost includes 12 game T-shirts

Not me- too old! But I think we should create a swishy box seating area- kind of like a "sky box" concept. We have a tent that can be decorated to the max.
