JOIN THE FUN!! VOLUNTEER AND DOCENT TRAINING FOR WALTON COUNTY HERITAGE MUSEUM SET FOR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2009 AT 5:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.

Have you always wanted to know more about Florida and Walton County history? Are you looking for a great volunteer opportunity in Walton County? Become a volunteer and docent at the Walton County Heritage Museum. To qualify, volunteers need to attend a training session offered Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the museum at 1140 Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Call the museum at 850-951-2127 to register. The Walton County Heritage Museum is part of the Walton County Heritage Association, a 501C3 nonprofit organization.

Guests enjoy extending their stay in South Walton with a day trip to the museum and surrounding Victorian homes. Residents learn about their county's history and also enjoy another benefit of living in Walton County.
