If you are looking for specialized pet care over the holidays(or any time for that matter.) I may be your answer. I specialize in dogs rather than cats and prefer to care for them in my home. I have three well-trained, highly socialized large dogs that are very gentle and love to play. We have a large house and a huge fenced backyard with grass to frolic in. There is tons of love and attention to go around. Your pet would be sleeping in the house; probably my bedroom with the rest of the brood. I do ask that you bring their bed so that they have something that feels like home. If your pet has a special diet I am willing to cook for them so that they have the nutrition and dietary requirements they require. (You provide the recipe and ingredients.) I have taken care of dogs as young as 10 weeks with no problem and have never had a dog not absolutely love it here. My only requirements are that I can only take 2-3 dogs at a time, depending on size. (I do have a soft spot for labs) they must be mostly housebroken (I allow for nervous mistakes and am an expert at cleaning up.) They need to be socialized and get along with other dogs. I would prefer that they don't eat furniture and they MUST be able to tolerate a five-year-old who loves dogs and is very kind. I am home all day and also go for regular walks. In a nutshell your dog would never be alone and never be locked in a kennel or cage. I charge $50 per day and can work out a deal if you have multiple dogs. I am also willing to entertain the idea of barter if you have something you want to trade.
