The Beach

I just wanted all of you that live at the Beach to know how lucky you are. Looking at the Blue Mtn.Cam these last 2 days have really made me yearn to be there. The water looks so inviting and calm. It would be a delight to be able to walk the beach and relax. Enjoy it while you can and hoist a cold beer for me.

Yeah, I'm feelin' like I need a SoWal fix for sure, and I just got back a few weeks ago.

yes, we need a DD visit. and we need her all to ourselves this time.

KISH - we SoWal residents really do know how lucky we are. and the beach is only one of the many wonderful reasons. hard to explain, but it is a special place filled with locals and people from all over who have chosen to make this their home. (the only ones that drive me insane are the city folk who come in and say "we need this here because this is how we did it in our town, and this town needs to do the same thing or else it just won't be a real town".. I've come to appreciate the fact that SoWal is not like any other town and hopefully we can keep her beautiful and simple and gracious and artsy and safe and very community-oriented.

but I get what you're saying, the gulf is always giving us much beauty and wonder.
