chicken poop gambling

Two DeFuniak Springs residents were arrested March 10 for gambling and keeping a gambling house involving a chicken.
Martha, 57, and Larry Lightner, 63, collected $1,100 between Dec. 15 to 18, 2005 for the Juniper Lake Pub Chicken S--t Contest, the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco said.
The Lightners sold 1,100 spaces on a 4-foot by 8-foot board for $1 each. Anyone who purchased a space would write their name in it, the department said.
A chicken was placed on the board at the Juniper Lake Superette and Pub. Whatever space the chicken defecated on was the winner, who received $800. The Lightners kept the remaining $300, the department said.
A call to Larry Lightner was not returned by deadline.

one of the frat houses here at USC is sponsoring a cow patty drop here for charity...they are graphing off the soccer field and doing the same thing with a COW!!!!! (I think these boys are from Clemson!)

KOTO radio in Telluride has used the chicken as a fundraiser. the chicken is on a world tour now, apparently making a stop in Defuniak.
