    New owner in Seacrest Beach

    Hi everyone,
My wife and I recently bought a nice condo overlooking the lagoon pool at Seacrest Beach. We visited the area for the first time last April and loved it so much we decided to buy our own place.
We will be renting the condo out for most of the year but can't wait to visit ourselves 2 or 3 times a year.
Looking forward to learning more about the area and having fun!

Here is a link to the condo

    Hi Kurt,

Actually Linga Longa was the name of a B&B that I used to visit as a child when I lived in England, the B&B was in a place called Bournemouth which is on the south coast of England. My Dad loved the name and so we used to go there just about every year :)

Hi Beasmiester and thanks for the Welcome
It's nice to hear from one of our neighbors!
Do you guys live in one of the condos too? It really is a beautiful place,
I haven't seen a nicer beach location anywhere in the US.
We will call in on you to say Hi at the sundries shop when we are there, we are coming down April 3rd and can hardly wait!!

    Your new place

I am just seeing your post. I've been so busy trying to find a rental have not checked much else. Welcome to SoWal. I will finally be moving there myself in March or April (as soon as I can get all done here in New Orleans). I also fell in love with the area and am relocating. It is such a calming place. Maybe we will all get to meet at some point. Contrats!!! Brenda

    SoWal Neighbors

Hi! I just got your post. Where is the village of South Walton at? I know alot of the area but cannot place that. I'm in Blue Mountain Beach close to 30A. It would be great to meet some of the people that you talk to on here but don't get to meet. Now that can happen. I so cannot wait until I am there. April 1 is my target date at the latest. If I'm lucky it may be a little sooner. Good luck to everyone and look forward to meeting you all. Brenda

I am currently too far away for a coffee date, but I do recommend a gathering at Hibiscus for coffee and introductions. It is wonderful. will catch up later...

A gathering at Hibiscus to meet everyone would be great if ya'll all feel like it. It will have to be after I settle in, but sounds like a great way to get to know everybody. Have a great Saturday evening, Brenda
