Did the new Cuvee Bistro open tonight?

Their website announces today as the opening date. Should be excellent food, with Tim Creehan overseeing it. I'm looking forward to it. I REALLY miss the old opulent Beach Walk. The new "small production" Beach Walk isn't the same.

That dude has more lives than a cat!!...Why would any supplier or vendor give that man anything without cash up front??..He stuck a Family Friend of mine with an unpaid plumbing bill of about 3 grand from his last bankruptcy

Hopefully for everyone involved, he's just doing the cheffing and someone else is in charge of the financials.

Yeah, obviously a terrible business person. Still, his food at the Beach Walk Cafe was stellar, IMO. I'll certainly give this new venture a try.

I was never that impressed with Beachwalk.

And as one of the MANY locals he has screwed on bills over the years, don't feel a need to rush over and try this place when there are so many other dining options.

IMO the old Beach Walk was superior to anything that's ever been in South Walton, with two exceptions: Cafe 30-A and Cafe Provence. I'd judge them as equal to the old Beach Walk. RIP Cafe Provence, a REAL loss. But I certainly can't argue that Creehan is a disaster in the extreme on the business side of things.

I also think Fish Out Of Water is sometimes excellent, but their menu tends to be a bit too "minimalist" for my tastes.
