Old books, photos, postcards of SoWal?

Does anyone know where I can find a book with old photos or some postcards that are of this area or Destin from say- 30 years ago? I was just wondering if these things even exist and if so, where can I find them?

Ihave a wonderful book titled The Way We Were Recollections of South Walton Pioneers published by South Walton Three Arts Alliance, Inc. Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. this wonderful book goes a long way back but is fascnating and has gloreous pictures. You might want to contact that group and see if they have that or other relevant publications. good luck

Those books are great - Three Arts Alliance was rolled into the Cultural Arts Alliance. They have them for sale at the ArtsQuest tables tomorrow.

For postcards, Ebay is a great source. I have a postcard of the old Frangista Motel framed on my desk at work.

Speaking for myself, I wish I had taken more pictures.
