Cabana Cafe's Sunday Sunset Jam Session

Cabana's Sunday Sunset Jam starts at 7pm tonight! Last week, we celebrated Butch Blasingame's BIG 60! Special guests, "Edifice Wrecks", Butch's college band, totally ROCKED!!! Chris Clarke and Gary Spaulding, from "The Blackwater Boys" joined Blue Lew, Ted and Nora onstage - Butch, too! - and Memphist Bassist, Paul Greene as well as local drummer, Chuck Formes joined in on the jam. We were treated to a solo perfomance by a young lady who was vacationing here with family and friends - named "Ashley" - she was WONDERFUL!!! Accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, she played several of her original songs and literelly had the audience spellbound! It was a great musical night! Not to mention, one heck of a party!!!
Tonight, we'll be celebrating Father's Day so grab your Dad and come on out to the Cabana for some Excellent food, fine music and all your favorite cocktails! We welcome jammers of all ages and styles (last week, our ages ranged from early teens to 60+ - quoting Butch B. - "Rock is an attitued, not an age!")
