Thumbs up for Gravel Road

After much delay, now regretted, we finally got over to the new location last night.

To get straight to the point - the "new" Gravel Road" is the best deal going in the eastern Seagrove-Eastern Lake area.

The new menu is great! The entrees are home style comfort food, but preparation is at the fine dining level we enjoyed at the old Grayton location. Our table had warm pancetta and tempura fried shrimp as appetizers. Then, it was on to chicken and dumplings, pork chop, ribeye, and vegetable plate as entrees. Main dishes and sides were all delicious. A shared cheesecake dessert insured we would barely waddle out.

There were several tables with young kids - the menu and atmosphere both work well for parents.

Our service was attentive and friendly.

And the check was pleasant, too.
