Eden State Gardens Candlelight Tour 12/18/10

The Eden State Gardens Candlelight Tour is scheduled for this Saturday, December 18th from 5:30p.m. - 8:30p.m. Let's hope the weather man is wrong - no rain please!

The Pt Washington community will be filling bags to make thousands of luminaries on Saturday the 18th and volunteers are greatly appreciated. Meet us at the old exit gate by the Montessori School around 1 or 2:00 PM. Local color (meaning entertainment guaranteed), oysters and beer or BYOB and a fire to keep us warm.

This has become a tradition in our neighborhood and we would like to share with anyone who would like to help and enjoy.

I recommend bringing one of those "long lighters" - the kind you use to light your grill or fireplace. If you use the regular kind of lighter, your hand tends to get a little warm after lighting several candles.

We go every year because we have friends and family visiting. It is so special and really gets you in the Christmas spirit. We are so blessed to have Eden in our community.
