    Jalapeno Popper Dip

    Description: Unstuffed poppers in dip form
    Serving Size: 8
    Time: 30 mins.
    Difficulty: Easy

    Ingredients:
    1. 2 8 oz. pkgs cream cheese
    2. 1/2 cup sour cream
    3. 1/2 cup mayonaise
    4. 1 can chopped green chiles
    5. 4 (less for those who like less heat) whole jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
    6. 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
    7. 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
    Preparation:
    1. Soften cream cheese to room temp.
    2. Seed, devein and finely dice jalapenos.
    Instructions:
    1. preheat oven to 400 degrees
    2. Stir together cream cheese, sour cream & mayo in large bowl until smooth. Stir in green chiles and jalapenos. Pour mixture into oven safe serving dish and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and panko crumbs. Bake uncovered for 15 mins. Place under broiler for 1-3 mins. to lightly brown the top. Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.

    I prepared this dip and took it to the volunteer's gathering @ Eden State Gardens last weekend. It was a great success. One comment was "tastes like heaven in a pan". Will definitely make it again.
