Alison, have a safe trip, see you Saturday. We have PFD's for all the kayaks, in case anyone feels the need to get out

and the water is only feet deep until you head out pretty far.

I think you should be asking Mermaid, who knows how to stay in the boat.

Sueshore was just talking to us, then just fell over like a fainting goat (of course she was sitting in the boat when she rolled into the water).

Yeah, and she's going to faint again when she reads you're comparing her to a goat!!

I didn't fall out of my kayak because I had the camera and cell phone in my backpack and knew I'd be in deep doo doo with someone if I soaked those items in Western Lake. I don't know if I've ever had such good posture and control as I did then!! I would definitely recommend NOT taking anything good with you when kayakking!

Speaking of waterproof while in a boat. My FIL is a welder so we always used a waterproof welding rod holder for stuff we didn't want wet. Worked great!

I don't like it, I love it!! I got up and had no internet connection this morning, which was probably a good thing as I had to empty our my pantry this morning. Almost went and woke up Mr. K to fix it!!! It was the first thing he did when he got up!
