Join the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center for an Open House “Celebration of Earth Day”, April 9th from 9am to 3pm.

Activities planned include: Endangered Species Encounters; Bee Keeper with active exhibit of the “honey bee”; an Sea Life “Touch Tank”; Muscogee Indian Tribe demonstrations; Sea Turtle, Reptiles and Birds of Prey Presentations; Featured “Earth Friendly” Films; Guided educational hikes through the Gopher Tortoise Trail and the Longleaf Pine Trail.

All activities are free with a $5 admission (ages 5 and under enter at no cost). Pack a lunch and come for the day. Snacks and lunch (by “Red Bay”) can be purchased along with souvenirs of the day, with an opportunity for “Raffled Items”. Be sure to wear walking shoes and bring your cameras as you experience a day of wonder and adventure for the entire family.

The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center is located 6 miles west of 81 in Bruce and 4 miles east of 331 in Freeport on Hwy 20.
