Try contacting my major professor in computer science at the University of South Carolina. His office was full of sewing machines because that was his hobby. And he was my favorite prof in grad school.

Hi, I have a Singer Slant-o-matic 500 that was my mother's. It is in a cabinet and I just tested it and it works. I have the original user's guide and a tan plastic box with some items in it. Haven't thougt about a price; but, would be willing to discuss, if you are interested. Am leaving for AL tomorrow and will be back next Thursday.
