    House for the Weekend

we are looking to rent a house for my granddaughter's first communion party...we have elderly relatives (in their 90s), so it needs to be a house on ground level...or at least with the living area on ground level.
Not necessarily on the beach, but near. Not for a group to sleep but for a Sunday after church service luncheon.
anyone know of a place that can be rented just for the weekend this time of year. We need it April 30 and May 1st.
    thanks--

You might want to try VRBO and contact owners that don't have stuff rented. It might have to be a very last minute type of thing though as most owners aren't going to loose a week for one day.

If they have you in mind and it's not rented I don't see why they wouldn't want to take the money.

thanks, Matt. I have been in touch with a few and our company has a couple that may work. If you know of any property that is ground floor and has room for 4 or 5 cars, let me know. We may end up just having it at my son's house--he has lots of parking but not much inside room...I have inside room, but no parking, We are going to shuttle some of the relatives, but ideally still need a bigger space. We may just end going to a restaurant, but that's not our first choice

we are having big family in on the same weekend for the same reason! it is going to be crazy!
We will see you at St Rita's!

one suggestion, and if not for the big event, then maybe another time with family and/or friends. Just last Sunday we finally made it over to Eden Gardens State Park to cook out at their beautiful picnic pavilions. It was really nice!!!
