LOL! So true, Bob. Some of us who remember the BC (before computer) days are STILL in awe over current technology. Occasionally, I'll do something on my iPhone, and then realize - awestruck - that I'm holding a tiny world-linked computer in my hand. I remember having to go to the LIBRARY to do research. Remember the card catalog, and microfiche machines? I remember placing the cassette voice recorder, which had a microphone attached to a cord, in front of the television to record the episode of The Lucy Show that Donny Osmond guested on (I'm thinking mayby that TV had a "remote," attached by a long cord to the television, so that we could change to any of the whopping three channels we chose). I remember Santa bringing us a (huge by today's standards) microwave for Christmas and watching in awe as water actually boiled in it! I remember getting Pong (maybe that same Christmas) and moving a joystick up and down to move the neon green "paddle" that hit the bouncing neon green square ball. The list goes on and on. . .

omc Miss Critter - I have one of those big ole Litton microwaves sitting in my kitchen right now!..
It works better than my built-in does and I use them both!
And we could get 3 or 4 channels only if we had an antenna on the outside of our house - and would have to go out and turn it sometimes to get the signal. As Archie Bunker would sing "Those were the days!"
