Actually.... Bought a round of shots at a favorite Nola restaurant for the kitchen as a thank you and next thing we knew our table was COVERED on food, thongs that weren't even on the menu made their way to us. It was Jacque-imos on maple street if anyone is curious.

Let's see: My couch and love seat, kitchen chairs, bedroom furniture, spare room furniture, piano/office furniture, all but 9 of the plants in my yard, and most of the clothes that I actually like. I'm the queen of hand-me-downs.
I also got some really, really cool friends via the internet.
Life doesn't get any better than this.

Oh! And my folks had extra time-share points last year, so after Christmas they flew me to Ft. Lauderdale for a week and got me a rental car. I only had to buy gas & groceries. Very cool freebie...

The expensive education, the car, and the designer clothing from my Mom (Daddy died my freshman year) during my four years at Tulane. Then another car and other support while hubby and I were poor graduate students at UF.
Mom really didn't have to do that.
