FIRST LEGO League teams forming @ Emerald Coast Science Center

The Emerald Coast Science Center is sponsoring at least one FIRST LEGO League team this fall. The FIRST LEGO League is a competition for students ages 9 - 14 in which a team of students designs, builds, programs, and tests a robot that will perform a series of tasks. The project culminates with a series of tournaments between November and February.

The Science Center will sponsor one or all of the following teams: a home school team that will meet Wednesday from 10-12, an open team that will meet Saturday 10-12, and/or an open team that will meet Thursday from 5:30 - 7:30. In an effort to encourage more girls in science and technology we would like to sponsor one girls only team that would meet either Saturday morning or Thursday evening.
