How to dispose of washer & dryer
There is a day once a week that they come around and pickup household items on the street. Will they pickup a washer & dryer or will I have to find another way to dispose of them.

I believe there is a dumpster at the Mosquito control office on 393 for appliances and such. Call them 850 267-2112
Dumpsters – Dumpsters are provided for the disposal of metal items, electronics, and tires, free of charge for citizens within our District.

If that doesn't work the dump on Steelfield road (off Hwy 79) will take them. They charge, but the price is not outrageous.

If you just upgraded your appliances and the old ones are still working you can donate them to Caring and Sharing.

The owner of a metal salvage company took our dead washer and dryer away for free.
