Another easy crock pot recipe
Description: This is another one that's quick and easy and doesn't heat up the kitchen, I made it this week! Hubs even liked it! I served it with rice and it made great leftovers, I'm thinking you could shred up some chicken and use it for chicken enchiladas as well. I'm thinking I'll add chopped green chili's or pico next time and make some zesty enchiladas with leftovers!Serving Size: 4-6Time: no timeDifficulty: Easy

Instructions:- put chicken on bottom of crock pot
- cover with onion soup mix and seasonings
- cover with cream of chicken
- cover and cook on high 4.5 hours or low all day
- package boneless skinless chicken breasts or sub in a pork loin roast

I love to cook with a crock pot, even though it feels like I'm cheating.

DD, I'm doing the spicy pork version this week so I'll let ya'll know! The crock pot is so handy when I'm putting in long days!! I had poor hubs start dinner earlier this week-you'd think he could read directions and follow them but not so much! Hence the pulling out of the crockpot!

Yeah, let me know how it goes. I don't cook much during the summer, but might be convinced to pull out the old CP for this recipe. I do love using it in the winter though. It's a lifesaver sometimes.

the friend of the friend that I got the recipe from did hers over egg noodles and was a fan, hopefully u liked it SGG. I was going to make spicy pork this week but i'd sent hubs to the store and he got a tenderloin rather than loin and I was afraid it would cook to mush in crockpot so it's on my list again this week.

Yummy!!!! Had it with egg noodles, it is a hit!
BTW....if you are in the market for a slow cooker, Sears has a large crock and a mini crock pot combo for $27.00."

I made the crock pot pork with large can of fire roasted chopped green chilis-super moist, tender and tasty-served with brown rice that I cooked with a sauted green bell, onion, 2 serrano peppers and some fresh garlic then added 1 can low sodium chicken brother and the rest water with a bay leaf and brown rice. Good stuff and healthy enough for me!
