Here are a few of my picks if you check out the blog. I think 3 more of the picks through the blog have gone under contract. I really like that VMU lot in Grayton for $69,000 or the 4-5 bedroom home south of 30a for $349,000. Blog attached. Just click on property description to see more once on.

Why won't realtors or owner post deals right here?

I was going to send you the mls information by email, but I can post here as well, no problemo.

I think because they are busy and have set up other ways to post. Mine are a simple click and Murray says you can sign up for his Newsletter. As an agent to post a really good deal that is not your listing might spoil the chance for you to directly sell the deal. That's why we always encourage people to call an agent you know and trust if you are looking. That's really how you will find the deal. Each agent typically knows something that is good and a deal.
But.... I do like this one.
1. Village Mix Lot in Grayton for $69,000. (btw, this is my listing).

Respectfully, aren't you working for the seller with the intent of selling his property as quickly as possible at the best possible price? I suppose even if you aren't working for the seller you are missing out on a great opportunity to advertise yourself and get prospects. I just find it odd that I hear there are great deals around but don't see them here. Realtors aren't known as a shy group.

Abby,
I post my listings in many places. Sowal is one place I post and I pay to advertise. There sometimes is a little more to the story. If you are truly looking for a deal pick up the phone and call an agent. Sometimes, the deals you might be hearing about are not really real. An agent can help clear the air. Have a great day and I hope you find what you are looking for. BTW, House, lot, condo, location?

I don't teach my college courses and give out my notes, etc., for free online. Same for realtors.

Here is an example of a great buy! I just listed this home a few moments ago. It is a fixer upper in a hot selling area. How long will it last? Will those looking, just continue to look and find problems with it or will they make the call to buy. Good luck. I give this 48 hours.

Abby, Your idea sounds great, but Realtors have to be careful not to break the law, which we could be doing if we begin posting our listings everywhere. The problem occurs when the home sells and we no longer have the listing. Then, we are advertising property for sale that isn't for sale, and that could be seen as fraud by the law, unless we remove all the posts about the property for sale.
Also, there is the problem of outdated postings which already sold. When you click on those, you'll be wondering why you cannot see the listing. You know how threads are resurrected sometimes.

All I have to do is post something anywhere and I get reported.... Luckily, ECAR works with you and laughs it off. I was reported for my top picks in less then 24 hours! Fortunately, no violations.
