Easy Black Beans and Rice
Description: Just one of my favorite easy meals to prepare during the week.Serving Size: 4Time: Three minutes of prep; rice takes 30-40 minutesDifficulty: Easy
Ingredients:- 1 cup of brown rice
- 2 cans of Progresso black beans
- 1 can of Rotel
- Cumin ( 1 tsp. or whatever you want)
- Garlic salt (1 tsp or whatever you want)
- Optional: "Mexican" shredded cheese if you have some
Preparation:- None.
Instructions:- Start cooking the rice, preferably in a rice cooker.
- Dump the black beans, Rotel, cumin, and garlic salt into a saucepan, bring to a light boil, and simmer while the rice cooks.
- If you have some cheese, lay it on!
