Hello and I'm sorry.....
First..hello all along 30A and SoWal. Until about 2 years ago I was a proud resident of that area for about 1 year. I had escaped the rat race and relocated there and absolutly loved it! (who wouldn't) Then...my worries took over again and I opted to go BACK to the rat race but still remained close to 30A.....but not close enough.
Two months ago the company that lured me back sold and I being the last one hired, was the first to be layed off. Since then I have traveled back to my home town to visit family, friends and also to just see if I am suppose to be back here. Well....I am not. Family and friends can see everything that I have inside is to be back there...along 30A. This is where I ask for some insight.
I do not have to be rich, I do not have to have the nicest of things. All I want is to be rich in happiness and love life and have fun doing it. I obviously need some type of employment before I can relocate there. I have many skills, I am very friendly, intelligent, educated and a very quick learner no matter what the subject or task. My main talents are photography and graphic work however...nothing is out of the question. Bartend? Love it! Work on the beach setting up beach chairs? No problem! Basically...I am willing to be of any help and a great employee to anyone doing anything.
I realize that this may be a stretch and it is possible that noone will see this. But on the other hand..it might not only lead me to the right place but someone in need of someone like me. So..if your reading this and have an idea or a contact..please let me know or direct someone to me. In return...I can assure you that I will as I have always help someone else out down the road. As they say...just pass it down.
So thank you for reading this, I not only want to be a local there again but a valuable local with much to give to the community. It is a outstanding place and I will be proud to reside there again as I will hope you will for me as well.
By the way, if anyone thinks I should leave my contact info here I will, otherwise I will see the response (if any) here. Thank you all for reading and hope the day is a great one!

Hey there and good luck on your search. I'm sure everything will work out for you if you stay on it. Things always work out for the best even though we often have to take the long road to get anywhere.

Factory outlet stores are hiring seasonal workers. That might be a good way to pay the bills while you interview for other jobs.

I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit. We are anxiously awaiting the day that we too can live the life we wish on 30-A. It seems 30-A is filled with those who have the entrepreneurial spirit. Your ideas and creativity can flourish there. Because photography and graphic work are your talents, maybe consider starting something that utilizes those talents and fills a need. I know there is tons of competition there. However, I have heard that about 90% of us homeowners along 30-A don't actually live there. I am unclear how many of us rent out our second homes, or investment properties, but I bet its enough to make a living off of their needs. Photographing their homes and assisting them in marketing the property is something of interest. Maybe a job in a local restaurant while you start your business?? Just brainstorming for you.... and dreaming right along with you :-). And yes, check the employment section of this site. I'll be watching for your posts to see what works for you. Good luck.

Good luck and I mean it. The rat race is no place for real people. We do get some rats who come here and start running in circles.
